Woman Suspected of DUI Hits Patrol Car Carrying another DUI Suspect
According to Washington State Police, a twenty-four-year-old (24) woman suspected of driving drunk ran her vehicle into a Washington State Patrol car as the Trooper was arresting another person suspected of DUI. On Saturday at approximately 3 a.m., the State Trooper arrested a thirty-six-year-old (36) woman and placed her in the backseat of his patrol car when the twenty-four-year-old (24) crashed her BMW into the back of the Trooper’s patrol car. According to authorities, when the accident occurred, the State Trooper was sitting in the front seat of his car pulled over to the right shoulder of the highway with his lights flashing waiting for a truck to tow the thirty-six-year-old (36) woman’s vehicle. The Trooper was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. Authorities said both women were booked into jail on suspicion of DUI.
