R&B Singer Miguel Arrested on Suspicion of DUI in LA
R&B singer Miguel has been arrested in Los Angeles on suspicion of drunken driving. Miguel Jontel Pimental, 27, was pulled over in his BMW X6 just after 2 a.m. Thursday for speeding and driving with too dark of tinted windows.
Officers administered field sobriety tests, and a preliminary test measured Miguel’s blood alcohol level at 0.10 percent. California’s legal limit is 0.08 percent.
Miguel won the Grammy for best R&B song earlier this year for “Adorn.” He also duets with Mariah Carey on her single “#Beautiful.” Miguel has yet to provide comment on the arrest.
