Memorial Day: Celebrate Safely
Last year on Memorial Day, most Arizonans made the wise choice to not drink and drive, but those who did were extremely under the influence.
According to statistics from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety, the average blood alcohol level was .153—almost twice the legal limit. In Arizona, .153 is considered an “extreme DUI.” (Legal Jargon: ARS § 28-1382(A)(1)). This blood-alcohol level was the highest Memorial Day weekend average in the past five years.
Don’t be a part of a statistic for Memorial Day 2014. Avoid a DUI by planning ahead with a safe ride.
